Outward Trade and Investment Mission Algiers, Algeria and Tunis, Tunisia 20 – 24 October 2019

the dti invites you to apply to participate in an Outward Trade and Investment Mission to Algiers, Algeria and Tunis, Tunisia. The objective of this mission is to increase trade and investment between South Africa, Algeria and Tunisia. It is an ideal platform for South African companies who would like to export value added products and services and for companies that are looking for investment opportunities in the North Africa region.
The target sectors for this mission include:
- Agriculture and Agro-processing;
- Energy and Chemicals;
- Mining and Capital equipment; and
- Infrastructure: roads & rail, bridges, ports, built environment professionals.
Companies will be screened and selected in line with EMIA guidelines and market requirements, which are outlined in the EMIA guidelines document. For the approved companies, the dti will provide:
- Hotel accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis to a maximum of R3,000 per day;
- Economy class return airfare to a maximum of R17,000 (depending on the size of the approved entity).
Companies that are not eligible for EMIA funding are welcome to participate in this mission at their own expense. Companies applying for EMIA funding for this mission need to complete and submit the attached EMIA application form as well as a one page profile to:
