Survey of Potential SA Companies

Dear Mining / Mineral processing suppliers,

The dti is considering supporting the establishment of a South African Mining & Mineral Processing Suppliers Hub/Hive on the Copperbelt, Zambia to facilitate SA exports, and to assist SA firms in complying with the expected introduction of local content regulations in Zambia. The idea of a SA hub is to provide space for firms to operate from, as well as a focus for networking on sales and local supply opportunities.

For a very insightful paper on the subject, please follow the following link - http://www.saceec.com/news/article/the-regional-value-chain-for-mining-capital-equipment-linkages-and-firm-upgrading-in-sa-and-zambia

In this regard the SACEEC have been asked to assist in collecting information from our members, as this feedback will be used to guide the dti on this issue. Individual company information will be kept confidential, and research findings will be presented to dti in aggregate form.

Please return completed forms to myself at the SACEEC admin@saceec.com before the end of the week 28 October 2016.

Kind regard
